NAMPA, Idaho (AP) A man who police believe killed his wife by releasing a car jack while she was under the vehicle is now charged with soliciting a minor to participate in a sexual act.
Rodney Bibbey, 37, is being held in the Owhyee County jail without bond on a first-degree murder charge in the April 2012 death of 35-year-old Trina Bibbey in Marsing.
Owhyee County Prosecutor Doug Emery tells KBOI-TV that investigators believe Rodney Bibbey manually released the jack in what originally was thought to be an accident while his wife was changing the oil.
Emery tells the Idaho Press-Tribune in the course of the investigation, investigators found evidence a second crime in 2010.
Court documents say Bibbey asked a child questions about sexual intercourse while holding a sex toy.
