
A man who got into a fight with Boise Firefighters this morning caused a mercury spill.
KBOI-TV-2 reports The man walked into the fire station on Chinden bvld. in Garden City asking for help with a medical issue.
Firefighter's started to help him, but he started to fight and In the process a blood pressure device was knocked to the ground and broke causing a mercury spill.
The man was transported to St. Als where haz-mat crews isolated the emergency room for several hours.
The crews didn't find any contamination at the hospital.
Firemen were decontaminated at the scene.
