Three major interchanges on I-84 will be getting makeovers.

The Idaho Transportation Department said the Meridian Road, Broadway Avenue and Gowen Road interchanges are old and undersized and need to be brought up to date.

The cost for the project is about $124 million dollars with most of the money coming from GARVEE bonds.

Construction on all three projects will start in early 2014 and will be complete by the fall of 2015.
