Idaho Congressman Leaves Immigration Reform Talks
June 6, 2013
Idaho 1st District Congressman Raul Labrador is out of the "Group of Eight" immigration reform talks.
He says he decided to leave over the issue of who would be responsible for the health care costs of undocumented illegal immigrants.
And for now Labrador says it appears the group has come up with a plan that would put that burden on taxpayers.
Labrador says he will still work to reform immigration laws that secures the border and creates what he calls a workable guest worker program.
