Ada County and Dynamis have agreed to terminate the waste-to-energy plant.
A joint press release said the termination comes as a result of a variety of factors concerning the project.
Dynamis had plans to build a $66 million dollar plant at the county landfill that would turn trash into usable energy.
The agreement will be presented to the Board of Commissioners to be signed at a public meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Ada County Courthouse.
