People that are still gathering information to file state tax returns may owe a "use tax."

That's the Sales tax you don't pay when you buy merchandise online or out of state.

There is a line on your tax form, line 28, where you can report any tax and include it with your return.

Tax Commission officials admit very few returns have any use tax reported.

But, it is required.
