Idaho businesses are being urged to file their tax returns electronically.

The state tax commission said e-filing saves paper and mailing costs and allows businesses to get their refunds faster.

The commission website lists approved software developers that offer electronic filing.

Last year about 47 percent of Idaho businesses e-filed their state and federal tax returns.
