Boise Police Are Investigating 3rd Murder Of The Year

BOISE, Idaho (AP) Police say a 55-year-old Boise man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the beating death of a homeless woman whose body was found at a downtown Boise hotel. Thomas Herman was arrested Tuesday and held without bail. He was expected to make an initial court appearance on Wednesday. Officers were called to the Cabana Inn at about 7 a.m. after a report of a disturbance and a suspicious death. The Ada County coroner said the woman died about two hours before her body was found. Her name hasn't been released. The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/12tPwwV ) Herman was arrested in December after a woman said he threatened to kill her with a knife. He pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and placed on probation.
