(BOISE, Idaho) -- Dozens of people were cited for speeding and seat belt violations during a recent enforcement exercise across Idaho.

The enforcement effort was carried out Feb. 8-17, through a partnership involving the Idaho Transportation Department, Idaho State Police and other law enforcement agencies across the state.

Idaho State Police say 148 citations were dished out for seat belt/child restraint violations; 200 citations were given out for speeding; and 74 motorists were found to be driving without the required insurance.
