(BOISE, Idaho) -- A man was arrested Thursday night after a traffic stop lead to a search of his car.
Jacob Beutler, 22, was pulled over after he allegedly made an improper lane change at approximately 9 p.m. When police checked his records, they found that he had had his driving privileges suspended.
When police approached the vehicle, a K9 unit allegedly detected the presence of drugs. Officers then inspected the vehicle and found a syringe and a baggie containing a small amount of methamphetamine.
Beutler was booked at Ada County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving without privileges, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
