(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police arrested a 48-year-old transient man Monday afternoon who allegedly used a large piece of wood to hit a man in the stomach.
Officers were called to N. 15th and Front Streets at 1:04 p.m. by witnesses who reported a fight in progress. Police found evidence that the suspect, James G. Martin, used wood to hit an adult male in the stomach, according to a police report. The victim told police he wanted to press charges against Martin, who was then arrested.
Martin was booked into the Ada County Jail on felony aggravated battery charges.
