(BOISE, Idaho) -- A pedestrian was killed in a vehicle collision on Wednesday night.

The crash occurred at 36th and Anderson Street at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to the police report.

Witnesses told police the victim was an adult male, who stepped into traffic and was not at a crosswalk.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and died hours later.

The Ada County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the victim’s name.
