(BOISE, Idaho) -- A Boise man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly stole items belonging to a victim who police say is known to the suspect.

Boise Police say they found Dustin Armstrong, 35, at a parking lot in the area of Pierce Park and State Street on Saturday morning and in his possession was a small safe that belonged to the unidentified victim. The safe reportedly contained financial documents and cash belonging to the victim.

Armstrong has been charged with grand theft and parole violation charges, following the alleged incident.
