Police Seek Witnesses in Possible Road Rage Incident that Left One Dead

(BOISE, Idaho) -- Boise Police are seeking witnesses in what may be a series of reckless driving or a possible road rage incidents Monday night that left one man dead.

One incident began around 8 p.m. in the intersection of S. Vista Avenue and W. Canal Street and proceeded westbound on I-84 from Vista to Franklin Road. A male driver of a white Chevy Prism was involved. A police report states that officers have evidence one shot was fired on Franklin Road.

Another incident took place at about 8:25 p.m. just east of Benjamin Lane. A man with serious injuries was found inside a vehicle in the westbound lane of Franklin Road, who later died.

Police took a person of interest into custody at about 10:30 p.m. Monday night in a neighborhood near S. Cole and W. Amity Roads.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
