(GOODING, Idaho) -- Police in Gooding say that one of two suspects in a fatal stabbing on Sunday was arrested in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Two men were sought by police after an apparent stabbing victim, Alejandro Perez Lopez, was dropped off at North Canyon Medical Center early Sunday morning. According to the Idaho Press, surveillance video in the area had helped police identify the suspects.
Police told the Press that the suspect in custody will go through formal extradition and will eventually be returned to Idaho. Police believe the second suspect also fled the state.
Gooding Police Chief Jeff Perry told the Press that he expects both suspects' names to be released on Tuesday.
