(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police arrested a 54-year-old man for allegedly threatening a male acquaintance with a butcher knife and a frying pan Monday night.
Officers were called to a home on W. Boise Ave. near Chrisway Drive at about 8:30 p.m. on a report of a fight involving a knife. The victim had locked himself in a room and called 911. Police helped the victim out of the home and then found the suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated, in a back room. Police discovered that the suspect, identified as James A. Westberry, had allegedly used a butcher knife and a frying pan to threaten the victim.
Police arrested Westberry and booked him into the Ada County Jail. He was charged with aggravated assault, a felony.
