College of Western Idaho Community Education's 2nd Annual Kids College! (Kids and family)

Coming Soon! CWI Kids CollegeKids College is focused on inviting kids of all ages to visit the college and participate in classes of higher learning. Here are just some of the classes kids enjoyed this past Summer:Pen and Ink Drawing Jewelry Making American Sign Language Social Graces for Girls Acting and Storytelling Bike Safety and Repair Come join the fun! This summer we are planning to offer Theater/Music/Art/Science/Math and much more!

"Honk! Jr." (Family & Kids)
Time: 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Location: Boise Little Theatre
Boise Parks & Recreation and Boise Little Theater are proud to present "Honk! Jr.," our 11th annual summer youth musical.A fun-filled musical adventure based on the classic story "The Ugly Duckling," "Honk! Jr." will be presented at 7:30 p.m. July 22-24 & 29-30 and at 2:00 p.m. July 25 & 31 at the Boise Little Theater, 100 E. Fort St. The show features young actors, dancers and singers ages 6 - 18 under the direction of Autumn Kersey. Michael Liftin of the Palo Alto Children's Theatre says "Honk! Jr." is a great reminder of all the things we hope kids learn - accept others for who they are, not what they look like, remember that being different is okay, and remember that out there somewhere, someone's gonna love you - warts and all." Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children age 12 and under. To reserve tickets, call the Boise Little Theater box office at 342-5104.
