Gov agrees with other Govs

Governor Butch Otter agrees with other Republican Governors on how the health care legislation pending in Congress will affect the state's budgets. Reacting to a statement at the Republican Governors Association conference in Austin, Texas, Governor Otter said he has concerns about the cost of expanding Medicaid eligibility. The Governor joined his colleagues in urging Democrat governors to also speak out about the pending impact on states budgets. Facing a $151 million dollar shortfall in Idaho, the governor ordered more spending reductions to help balance the state's budget, required by Idaho's constitution.
