Fish are swimming home to Idaho
Over 800 sockeye...That's the amount of salmon Idaho Fish and Game say returned to Central Idaho this year. Officials say that's the most fish that's returned since tracking began back in 1985. They say the program to help the salmon is moving in the right direction. Sockeye were the first Idaho Salmon listed under the Endangered Species Act when the Government began a captive breeding program in the early 90's.
